"Rocky Mountain National Park: Fall River, Estes Colorado," 36" x 48", Acrylic on Canvas, 2026
The work shown here is my most recent painting and part of my series inspired by mountain streams. The painting depicts a view I photographed along the Fall River in Estes Park, Colorado, on a cold October morning. The Fall River winds through Rocky Mountain National Park, fed by snowmelt from the high peaks, and is known for its clear, fast‑moving water, granite boulders, and the brilliant autumn color that lights up its banks each fall. Its combination of rugged terrain and serene water movement has made the Fall River a subject I return to often to paint.
